Pearl 12-Pack Pencils
The Blackwing Pearl features a pearl white finish, black imprint and a balanced, smooth graphite core that is softer than the Blackwing 602's, but firmer than the Blackwing Matte's. The hexagonal casing is crafted from incense-cedar that sharpens evenly and easily. Black, extendable and replaceable eraser is placed inside the iconic square ferrule which is practical and gives it a distinct look.
Please find the available accessories below. We recommend especially the Long Point sharpener, which produces an excellent, sharp tip - it really makes a difference.

Blackwing Pearl Pencils
I bought these along with a pack of the Matte pencils to use for sketching. The Pearl feel similar to a 2B-3B softness and just like the Matte pencils they feel great to use and very high quality. Recommended!

Wonderful pencils
I've been buying Blackwing pencils for several years. The Pearl pencils are less soft than the traditional Blackwing pencils, can be sharpened to great precision very nicely. They are quite soft, so you can write or draw well but that does mean that they get used up quite soon. One minor point of criticism: I found that sometimes the metal brace containing eraser is a little loose. For me that has not been a major issue though.
