Kappa Quick Release Keychain Titanium
A keychain often has things that needs to be detached quickly and easily. The Kappa QR delivers the convenience and security for just that, in an entirely new way. The design is identical to the Beta QRv2 quick release - two pieces, no moving parts and nothing to break. A canted coil spring inside provides the snap-together function. The spring is manufactured by a company that is specialized in only this type of spring, commonly used for electrical and mechanical interconnects on everything from military to space equipment.
Pro tip: twisting the two halves while attaching/detaching the Kappa will reduce the amount of force needed. It's a recommendation but not necessary.
Break in period: The sharp edge of the male part can create an excessively crisp detach on a brand new Kappa. The first few dozen uses will round-over this edge. Over time, the connect/disconnect will become smoother.

Super secure!
These snap close and release with a firm push and pull and feels very secure. Smaller than a lot of similar magnetic options out there. Would’ve loved a stonewashed Ti version.
