A century in the making: Evergoods worked with historic Scottish mill, Halley Stevensons, to custom-make a high-end cotton & waxed finish shell called P400 Wax C4X. The end result is a weave that’s more tear-resistant than other waxed canvas they tested and a harder and more crystalline wax than what is usually found in apparel.
Hi-Vis interior: The heritage Griffin collection comes equipped with a 420D HT Nylon Hot Orange lining with PU coating. This pop color aids in elevating the visibility of your internal gear, making the “grab n’ go” a breeze.
Leather goods from Evergoods: For the first time in Evergoods history, they’ve used leather in their equipment. They sourced the leather for the zipper pullers, patch, and style label from a company with over 100 years of leather expertise: BERGER Co. in Atchison, KS.
Limited edition art: Every wearable item in the Griffin collection comes with a custom-designed limited-edition leather Evergoods x Carryology patch designed by Dan Matsuda.
The finer details: In areas that come into contact with your body more often (shoulder straps and back panel), P400 SUPERDRY is used, the same tough cotton weave as the shell but without the wax. This aids in on-body comfort while still keeping a cohesive heritage look.
No sacrifices: Despite using heritage fabrics and materials, the Griffin edition of CPL24 sacrifices none of Evergoods modern signature features, innovative access, 3D pocketing, and ergonomics that you’ve come to expect from an Evergoods product.

A great backpack
This special edition is very nice. I like wax tan and the interior of this backpack which is very bright. The bag is well designed and easy to store all those daily essentials. A special mention for the top pocket, which is just the right size. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
