Hide & Seek wallet is more classic and traditional by the looks, but you can find nice qualities under the hood. Holding all the money and cards you could need, it helps separate items you use often from those that are important but needed rarely. I am very satisfied. That metal logo is unnecessary in my opinion. But there you go.

Wallet is made of high quality materials (two stars for that) and I would have loved to like it, but it's just big in all directions. Wallet is promised to hold 12+ cards, but once I'd stuffed eight cards in, adding more cards after that is a bit tricky.
Unfortunately, I had to return it.

In total I had 4 Bellroys. Only what I can say - quite good quality but overpriced. There is nothing really exceptional in those wallets, not very convenient to use, you are always need to sacrifice some cards to leave them at home as they do not fit into wallet. Will look for another option.

About a year ago I bought an H&S in Java-colour and I am very happy with the purchase. The leather of the wallet feels comfortable and when new (and still) the smell is nice and leathery without being pungent from the various preservatives. There are quite enough card slots and the banknote pockets work very well for basic use. Wallet is a good size, slightly smaller than I expected, and fits well in a party pants pocket. There are not so many cards that the wallet would bunch up unaesthetically in the pants pocket. This is also prevented by the lack of a coin pocket.
Now after a year of use, there is slight wear, but less than my previous leather wallet. The card pockets are slightly stretched, but not so much that there is a risk of cards accidentally falling out. If there are more cards in a pocket, the design of the wallet becomes a little more directional, i.e. the profile of the cards becomes more prominent and the sides get flattened slighty. Of course, there are fairly common occurences in leather products anyway.
Previous commenter complained about the implementation of Hide & Seek. I don't think it's as bad as the review suggested. Leather flap stays in place well when you place it in the right place when closing the wallet. Of course, it is possible to get a hidden pocket protection flap to stick with when taking from normal pocket, but I find the problem quite irrelevant. Hidden pocket for a preservative or, e.g. a regular medicine is most excellent and private. The hidden pocket can hold 50 and 100 euro banknotes, but I have not tried larger ones as they are not used on a regular basis. Wallet is probably sized for US and Australian dollars, so even a cent more width would make it easier to work with Euros.
My next product will be a Hide&Seek -wallet with RFID-protection. The main drawback seems to be the availability problems and the lack of colour options, but I find Java a very pleasant colour.
Overall I can recommend this wallet to everyone. After a year of use, the quality of the leather in particular has proved to be good. The minuses are mainly the size of the wallet if you use a lot of large Euro notes.

Nyt vuoden käytön jälkeen on lievää kulumista havaittavissa, kuitenkin vähemmän kuin aiemmassa nahkalompakossani oli. Korttitaskut ovat hieman venyneet, mutta eivät niin paljon, että olisi riski korttien valahtamisesta ulos tahattomasti. Jos kortteja on jossain taskussa useampi, lompakon malli muuttuu hieman suunnikkaaksi eli korttien profiili tulee esille ja reunat menevät lyttyyn jonkin verran. Nämä toki ovat aika tavallisia ilmiöitä nahkatuotteissa muutenkin.
Joku aiempi kommentoija valitteli Hide & Seek -toiminnon toteutusta. Mielestäni se ei ole lainkaan niin huono, kuin arvostelu antoi ymmärtää. Nahkalipare pysyy hyvin paikoillaan, kun sen asettelee lompakkoa suljettaessa oikeaan kohtaan. On toki mahdollista saada normaalista setelitaskusta otettuna piilotaskun suojalipare tarrautumaan mukaan, mutta mielestäni ongelma on aika irrelevantti. Joskus suojalipareen äärireunat tahtovat mennä taitokselle ja ne pitää suoristaa, jos ei halua ongelman olevan pysyvä. Piilotasku preservatiiville tai esim. säännöllisesti otettavalle lääkkeelle on mitä mainioin ja yksityinen. Piilotaskuun mahtuu hyvin 50 ja 100 euron setelit, suurempia en ole kokeillut, koska niitä ei tule käytettyä tavanomaisesti. Pienemmät setelit menee hyvin tavalliseen setelitaskuun. Lompakko on kaiketi mitoitettu USA:n ja Australian dollareita varten, joten senttikin lisää leveyttä helpottaisi Eurojen kanssa toimivaa.
Aion seuraavaksi tuotteeksi ostaa RFID-suojalla varustetun Hide&Seek -lompakon. Siinä näyttäisi lähinnä miinuksena tulevan saatavuusongelmat sekä värivaihtoehtojen vähyys, tämä Java on mielestäni oikein miellyttävä väri.
Kaiken kaikkiaan voin suositella lompakkoa kaikille. Vuoden käytön jälkeen etenkin nahkan laatu on osoittautunut hyväksi. Miinuksina lähinnä lompakon koko, jos käyttää paljon suuria Euroseteleitä.

Very good wallet!
I ordered mine in 10/2014 and have nothing bad to say about the wallet.
The only feature that has changed is that the card pockets have loosened a bit.
Once I found 100€ in the hidden pocket.

Excellent wallet. I bought it for myself in black with RFID protection. I have been very satisfied. Convenient size. Fits well in a pocket. The only small addition I could wish for would be a closure mechanism. For example a buckle or a zipper.

Wallet is disappointment. Otherwise a good quality gadget, but the Hide & Seek function itself doesn't work at all as expected. First of all, the ""secret pocket"" doesn't hold any banknotes of a size that would make sense to hide. Secondly, the ""secret pocket"" flaps open whenever you try to take banknotes from the normal pocket. The center of the ""secret pocket"" is sewn too tightly so that it does not press well enough against the other pocket when the wallet is opened, so the secret pocket is not secret in any way and the edge of the center tends to catch on the banknotes you try to take out of the normal pocket. Sides of the flap of the secret pocket often get stuck to the front of the wallet after opening the wallet, and using the banknotes with the wallet is an adjustment.
On the upside, the small size and the reasonable leather compartment are a plus. Idea of the wallet is good, but the practical implementation is very poor. Definitely not worth the price.

I ordered Bellroy wallet when I needed a wallet that didn't bulge out in my pocket as much as traditional wallets tend to do. Hide & Seek surprised me positively, it's actually much thinner with the same contents as my old wallet and really high quality feel, it fits in the hand and pocket well. Wallet has the best hidden pocket for banknotes and a hidden pocket in the same pocket for a credit card. All the cards you need often are easily accessible and right at your fingertips, and there are easy-to-use hidden slots for less frequently needed cards.
Stylish wallet was packaged in a beautiful package by the manufacturer so it works as a gift box when needed if buying the wallet as a gift and delivery was fast. Online store feels as high quality as the wallet.

I purchased this wallet about a month ago and have been very happy with it. It lives up to the product promises (thin and roomy) and feels of high quality. It remains to be seen if it is durable. Size is quite big, so if you are looking for card holder, I don't recommend it.

Packaging directly fits as a gift package, making it easy to buy as a gift. Quality of the wallet and first impression was also positive.
I got to know the wallet for about a week, but the size of the wallet was a bit distracting, so I ended up switching to the smaller Note Sleeve -model, which is almost the perfect size.
Hide & Seek is great for people who like to use cash, but if you pay a lot with a card, you won't benefit much from the features of this wallet.

Tutustuin lompakkoon n. viikon ajan, mutta sen koko häiritsi hieman kokoajan, joten päädyin vaihtamaan pienempään Note Sleeve -malliin, joka on melkein täydellisen kokoinen.
Hide & Seek sopii hyvin ihmiselle, joka tykkää käyttää käteistä, mutta kortilla paljon maksava ei tämän lompakon ominaisuuksista paljoa hyödy.

This wallet was another Bellroy's product. I previously owned Note Sleeve wallet but it didn't quite work for me. This one works perfectly. I can warmly recommend to anyone who wants a quality wallet. There is no shame in the large size as the wallet is really good quality and looks great. Delivery was very fast and the product was packaged to a high standard.
