The Orbitkey Travel Sling has become my favorite small sling. It has a clean and professional look and the bag stays flat when emptier and expands to fill quite a lot without looking bulky. It comes with quite a lot of internal organization, but they're not too prescriptive and the pocketing stay out of the way when you don't need them. The interior material feels soft and nice to the touch, but that comes with the risk of it not being as wear-resistant in the long-term I would guess. Time will tell. The shoulder strap comes of easily, and can be stored in the back pocket when using the sling as a tech-pouch or when carrying it inside a backpack.
After using this sling, i really like the design in the front with only one pocket in the front to open to find most of your stuff with a lot of organisation but the zipper of the back pocket has failed. It can not be kept closed anymore, so i am using it as a dump pocket. I hope they can make a second version with a better zipper on the back.
