This backpack is simply a work of art. You can see how much went into the process of the design. I've never owned such an expensive backpack, but finally decided it's worth it (after a month of reading reviews).
I'll try to put out a few pros and cons.
Pros:
- I like the blue color as it looks much darker (without artificial light) in real light than it is on the pictures (love to have stuff in color, rather than black).
- The possibility it stands on it own, in most cases, depending how does one pack it.
- A lot of small and fast access zippers.
- A dedicated U-lock webbing.
- Premium feel of the materials.
- Padding on the back and shoulder straps and on the handle.
- Hidden compartment for a tracker to be put in, so you will never forget your backpack.
- Other small details which can be seen on their videos and how-to videos.
Cons:
- I like the "hidden" water bottle compartment, but as some have stated, it takes space in the main compartment and for some, it could be a problem, but in the end, you have to pack smart and everything for a day fits nicely.
- Fast access compartments are only suited by swinging the pack from the right shoulder, so that can be an issue for some people, but hey, you can always access it by putting on the floor or hanging by a carabiner.
- No where to hang stuff on the shoulder straps - again, this can be a bummer for someone, but they created a sexy looking backpack and needed to sacrifice on some parts.
- The attachment loops are stiff and small, but again, it's not meant to hang stuff all over the backpack (at least this one), rather to keep it "clean" looking.
For what it's worth - I'm very happy with the purchase and Mukama services and will enjoy years (hopefully) of rocking the backpack.
