More eco friendly: To color their products, most big brands add dyes after the fabric has been developed. For this evolution of the CTB, the custom textile is solution dyet at the polymer stage in the beginning of the supply chain, which uses far fewer resources and produces a longer lasting product.

Exterior panel stash pocket: Deep, medium volume pocket for quick stash or retrieval of items like CAP1, glasses case, headphones, light jacket, etc. Pocket has independent volume and is high up on the bag, so it isn’t crowded by other load areas.

Dual side-utility stretch pockets: Exterior side pockets built from hard-wearing mountain apparel grade 4-way stretch woven for easy access to gloves, 1 liter water bottles, sunglasses, etc. Holds contents close and expands for larger items.

Luggage pass-through: Floating back panel acts as a luggage pass-through. Without any extra parts, zippers, or hardware, CTB26 can drop onto roller luggage for easier travel.

Signature panel loading: Full clamshell opening allows for easy packing when loading CTB26. Internal mesh zippered pocket and opaque security pocket with drop-in pockets add additional internal organization.

Durable, weather resistant textiles: Cut from the same durable fabric as the mountain line for a lightweight, low-bulk feel. 420d high tenacity nylon 6 main shell fabric with PU knifecoat on back side. Balance weave for equal tear strength in both directions.

CTB 26

I've bought the CTB26 for an international flight and for onebagging when I need to stay away more than just a weekend. Coming from a CTB20 I knew what to expect and this time too Evergoods has not disappointed. Another terrific bag and perfect for my use case.

Good overall bag, but...

The quality is very good. Materials are top of the game & a lot of organisation options.
However, the bag sits very high on your back, & the more you load it the more you feel it. The "side" admin panel is not my favourite. I was not able to get used to it & ended up avoiding using it all together. And the lower back pain is real. I cant say that its painful, but you definitely feel it, For a 300 usd backpack I cant find a justification for that.
The only reason I rate is as 4 is that its intended to be a Travel Bag. For travel maybe it is 4, but as EDC I would not rate it more than a 3. Dont understand the hype. Sorry.

Excellent edc weekend backpack

A backpack of the highest quality. A bit on the expensive size, but with so thoughtful organisation. Water bottle pockets are maybe the best that i have seen on a backpack. MInimal, beautiful design

Greate EDC backback

Backpack made from very durable material. Easy to clean from dust. Zippers are smooth and durable.

Straps are very comfortable and well padded. Don't dig into your shoulders event if backpack full loaded.

Laptop compartment is very well padded and has a velcro strap to keep the laptop in place. There enough space for 2 laptops.

Great side pockets for bottles. They are deep enough to keep bottle in place and have tight elastic bands.

If backpack heavy top handle not so comfortable. It doesn't digging into palm but feels not so comfortable.

Minimalistic and not pretentious, very high quality backpack.

The EDC for more than one day

I was looking into around fifty different backpacks before I've found the Evergoods CTB26.

I really wanted a backpack which I can use as an EDC when going to the office and the gym afterwards. But I also wanted to use it for short trips (max. 3 days).

The CTB26 is beautifully designed and crafted. Exactly what I was looking for designwise.
It has enough room for my MacBook, an iPad, my mechanical Keyboard and all of the other tech accessories as well as a big Klean Kanteen AND a 1l Nalgeene bottle (having two flexible bottle holders on the side is awesome) without looking crammed.

For short trips (1 night) its also perfect. If I want to use it for more than two days it gets a bit tricky fitting enough clothes and a toiletry kit inside even when using packing cubes. But it's definitely possible.

I don't regret spending hours after hours looking for the perfect backpack as I've found it with the CTB26.

I love this bag!

Great quality bag, has not over-the-top but useful level organization. The pockets are well sized and don't eat into each others dimensions at all. Zips are high quality and the weave used makes that this bag fits in anywhere, in the office and outdoors. Only tiny gripe that I had was the DWR finish was almost non-existent. Applied a new layer myself and after that it holds up well in bad weather. The fit takes some finetuning, but once you've found a comfortable strap length it is super comfortable no matter the weight!

Delivery was quick and no complaints about Mukama service. Highly recommended!
