A streamlined profile, excellent fit, and intuitive access have made CPL24 an award-winner and bestselling Evergoods backpack for 8 years. They took its modern DNA and infused it with a custom-made, high-end cotton & wax-finished shell called P400 Wax C4X.
The waxed canvas was developed with the historic Scottish mill Halley Stevensons. It is stiff, durable, and designed to get better with age. Leather zipper pullers were sourced from 100-year-old supplier Berger Co. Combined with standard gray internal lining and the CPL24’s signature features sets and appearance, this heritage variation is built to make its own legacy.

As a Evergoods nerd, this is for me a masterpiece. Outstanding quality. I got it a couple of weeks ago so the canvas is still a bit stiff but the patina is slowly showing in the fabric. I was a bit worried how it would stand against rain and snow? No worries at all.

I've been carrying a backpack for as long as I can remember, and the Evergoods CPL24 Waxed Canvas is by far the most premium one I've ever owned.
The quality is outstanding. It looks incredibly durable, the waxed canvas is beautiful, and the craftsmanship is on another level. The organization and thoughtful design make it a pleasure to use every day.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the weight. Even when it's empty, it's quite heavy. However, I got used to it after just a couple of days, and it no longer bothers me.
One improvement I'd love to see is a breathable, padded back panel in a matching color. If you live in a very hot climate, this is something to keep in mind, as the back can get quite warm during extended use.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium, well-designed backpack.

This is more a first-impressions than a review. have had the bag for a small week and have to say those first-impressions are high. Clearly well made, lovely materials, comfortable to wear on a small hike (5k) with a 11kg load, comfortable commuting on a bike (roadie). I did notice the main compartment zippers feel somewhat stiff. Not sure there's a break-in period or it's been sitting in a dry box too long and is needing lubrication.
As well, the people at Mukama were very accommodating when I needed to change my order at the last moment to speed-up the shipping. Would order from them again.
