Versatile titanium pick

Here’s another handy County Comm in-house tool that is being brought out of the shadows. Their in-house design team made these picks for their use, and they find them so handy that they wanted everyone to have an opportunity to have one.

This solid titanium mini scribe/awl/poker is just the thing to remove o-rings, scribe lines on small projects, adjust buckles on metal watch bracelets.

A pick I didn't know I needed

I am not sure why I bought this pick in the first place. I think I was just curious why people like it.

Now that I have it, I find myself always fiddling with it and finding new use cases every week. I cleaned a clogged bottle orifice (reducer), managed to get some stuck debris out of a mechanical keyboard, removed O-rings and it's generally a nice little fidget item.

It's also very well made and surprisingly robust for its size.

The best detail about this pick is that it has a very fine tip so it can get into small places but the tip is rounded, not pointy (like a needle) so it can't snag or scratch the material (unless enough force is applied).

Even though I wasn't sure at first what I would use this titanium pick for, now I think I will order a couple more.

Good design - it takes up no room to store but has already proved invaluable when needed. Pleased with the purchase.

Extremely useful

Not only does this thing weigh less than a sheet of a paper, it is extremely useful. I've lost count of how many things I can use it for. The most recent was my fountain pen nib feed got fused up into the top of the cap and nothing could reach it or pry it out. This pick is indestructible so I managed to pry it free and get it out properly. I couldn't think of any other tool in existence that could have done this job. Tweezers were too finicky or weak and a normal needle would have broken. The little loop at the top is the perfect size for the S-titanium ring that Mukama also sells. I have it on my keyring with my Wesn 3.0 Flipblade.

I really like this small tool. I use it to extract the SIM card from my phone. It's also very convenient for prying open things so you can reach places where it's not possible with other means.
