A spacious compact crossbody bag

The Kompak carries and protects your daily essentials on the go. It is crafted from the new Cordura® re/cor™ RN66, 100% recycled nylon 6,6. Black Ember is actually the first brand in the world to collaborate with Cordura on their new fully recycled material. The RN66 code name stands for recycled nylon six, six. The 66 rating means it's a high tenacity nylon that's ultra-durable and it means it's passed the brutal barrage of tests that make a woven nylon a Cordura®.

The new aluminum gated spring-hook hardware connects the padded shoulder strap securely to hypalon wings. The wings help the Kompak sit flat against your body. Your phone is charging in the Kompak’s magnetic pocket and your keys instantly attach to the magnetic key-ring. When you're ready to hang out for a bit, the Kompak unzips to become your mobile, personal organizer.

All Black Ember products are made using the Bond-Stitch high-precision construction. All textile components are laser-cut for precise assembly. This construction yields a super durable, over-engineered pack with a blacked-out, minimal and stealthy aesthetic.

I like the aesthetic and functional minimalism of this bag.
It has a great low-key, futuristic appearance.

PROS:
- Removable straps. If desired, you can use this bag as a pouch or an organizer.
- Metal hardware. All clips and adjusters are metal, which gives a quality feel.
- Is spacious and has great organization inside. This bag fits a 500-600ml water bottle. Best to use a bottle with a slim drinking nozzle.
- Feels weather resistant. Didn't test it in a poor weather, sorry. :)
- Magnetic key-ring. Cool feature. :)

CONS:
- Bag's outside material attracts pet hair, dust and similar particles.
- I would like for the padding section on the strap to be a little shorter - 1 cm on each side, perhaps? So I can wear the bag a little higher on the torso. I'm 167 cm tall.

Overall - I like the bag and enjoy using it in my daily life.

Very satisfied

Very high quality. My favorite bag for now. Some minor inconveniences like slippery shoulder strap and strange place for magnetic key chain. Going to buy TKS Tech-Kit Sling for summer.

Quite good daily bag, but not that great for the price

I use one as daily carry, next to backpack for about 2 months (keys, some cash, magsafe battery pack, airpods, Bellroy shopping bag, some ID / cards etc), but the problem is thats it. I was buying this in hope to give me more way of organisation compare to my old Aer day sling 2 and Bellroy sling v1, which both does not offer that much pockets. Sure this bag does give me more pockets etc, but overall after putting mentioned items in it is more stuffed than I would like to. Sice half of my gear is leather I put nearly everything separately and even thou in every pocket is 1 thing everything just bloat up. I also wanted to have this bag as occasional carry for my ipad mini 8, but with folio it is way to tight to put it there. Plus whole bag is really fur magnet, otherwise materials are top-notch - feels solid (although kinda rubbery, but not cheap). One thing I really would like to improve is shoulder strap, oh man, that thing is rotating like crazy so it often happens that I need to rotate is 2-3 times to get it right even multiple times a day and whole shoulder is kinda weird, I set it up to shortest setting and even that way it is not that nicely by my hip I would hope (I am about 180 cm) and strap is sometime hurting with t-shirts so I need to "cover" my neck with pulling up collar. I would say overall nice 3 stars. For that price it should deliver better service.

It was a Gift for my dad and he loves it so far.
Easy for him to organize and when he saw it First he said to me : I can pack my camera in !
So that let me think I‘ve made the good Choice !
IMO it is very durable and the recor look nice and discret .
