Ich benutze das Field Journal mit zwei passenden Heften von Lochby. Es wäre noch Platz für weitere Hefte. Das System ist gut gemacht. Das Canvas Material mag ist. Es zieht etwas Fusseln an, was für dieses Material normal ist. Das sollte man wissen, stört mich aber nicht.
This a great piece of kit, I have been keeping a Journal for fifteen years and this handy case helps me to keep, pens, pencils, box cutter, notes etc all in one place, very easy to use and very well made.

I'm chuffed to bits with my Field Journal. It holds my work calendar, an A5 notebook, a fountain pen and a few small bits and pieces. Love the brown colour too.

Finally I found a cover for my notebooks that I feel I can identify with and that fits my lifestyle (At least I want to think it does ;-) ) - Simple and stylish, rugged and durable. I also love the brown color and how it fades in color over time.
My wife likes it and it is strong and large enough for her needs. In particular she likes that the case is hard and strong enough to write on when on her lap so she doesn't need a table. Otherwise the price for the materials is extremely high.

Vielä kun kaveriksi hankkii pocket journal:n, niin kylläpä pysyy arki ja ajatukset järjestyksessä. Muutamaa kynän paikan jäin tähän ehkä kaipaamaan. Toki kun on näin hienot vehkeet, niin ilman kynän paikkojakin huomaan haaveilevani hienoista kynistä ;)

This was my first field journal. It fits a5 notebooks very well and has plenty of room for additional storage and inserts. The only thing i didnt like was material under the canvas material appears to be warped which creates unevenness in the front and back covers. My journal is not smooth like the pictures or the video from Lochby. Perhaps it is just that it is new and i havent used it very often or maybe this was just an outlier. Maybe over time it will smooth out.
I also purchased the pocket field journal and use that more often than this one and it is wearing very nicely.

Excellent journal cove. I take notes on botany field trip using it. It is strong, well made and waterproof. Ideal for all sorts of notebook use, but ideal for the outdoor enthusiast who needs to make notes of any kind.

A sturdy and smart field journal that can be filled with note paper of your own choice, wether loose pages or a notebook of choice. The cover is excellent, tough and water resistant. The locking system is simple, reliable and safe. The inside has a smart solution, with a mesh and a few other pockets. I use it for both office and outdoor work, taking notes, keeping sketches and drawings, and such. A favourite companion every day.
