Default Molle Backpack
The ILE flagship bag is built for all-around utility, featuring a waterproof main roll-top compartment, multifunctional middle sleeve, and handy hidden pockets. This bag is designed with room for groceries, extra clothing, a laptop and more, and offers excellent protection from the rain. The Default is comfortable for everyday use but will also carry larger loads with ease.
This Molle edition has 2 rows of MOLLE on lid, 4 rows of MOLLE on sides, and 3 rows of MOLLE on lower front. There is also a removable PVC label on loop-side pallet and a D-ring for clipping.
This model comes with a Cobra metal buckle, which secures the roll-top and front pocket. It has a quick-release design for easy uuse. It cinches down for max securement and allows for additional expandability.

I was looking for a good replacement for my old Chrome Urban that I've used as a commuter (bike) bag for the past five years. This bag looks fabulous and was praised on many forums so I took a chance with it.
The thing I miss the most is a small and easy to reach pocket with a zipper to easily stow away keys and other important, small objects in. This bag has lots of big deep pockets, but they're all hidden under one big velcro strap. All D-rings and buckles except for the big Cobra buckle are made of very cheap plastic quality. Made in America, feels American.
On the order and delivery part, I've nothing but positive things to say. Mukama handled it really well, 10/10, will buy from them again.
I'm just back from a one week backpacking style trip with this backpack. I was pleasantly surprised. The cobra buckle with roll top makes for adaptable but highly secure storage. In contrast with an earlier reviewer, I found the various pockets and compression straps to be quite useful. I didn't use the molle webbing on my trip, but I'm sure I will from time to time.
People have complained about ILE branding on their other bags. It's worth noting that on this bag it is in the form of a removable velcro badge. Having removed it, my bag is beautifully unbranded.
I didn't take a laptop on my trip, so I haven't used the front laptop pocket yet, which differs from the laptop against back format that I am used to. It's also true that the front pockets are hidden behind a velcro strap, which can only be easily accessed when the roll-top buckle is undone. This didn't bother me on my trip, but it could be a disadvantage when the bag is used as a daily backpack if you need to access those pockets many times a day.
The harness system is very comfortable, and it can be dialed in to your preference. The one negative that I found is that if the bag is packed to the max with clothing, then its shape rounds, which means that the back panel is somewhat curved. This reduces the bag's comfort against the back in those circumstances. If you are aware of this and you pack around it, it might be a non-issue.
Overall, I recommend the bag highly and look forward to travelling with it again, maybe even trying it as a daily work bag.
