Civic Access Sling 2 L

It's the perfect size and layout for me.
I've been on about 10 trips so far with it and it's been very comfortable to use.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Civic Access Sling. It does chafe my neck if worn too tight though. Just loosen up the strap a bit and it's good to go. It sits nice against the back, has a nice volume and a clean appearance.
Compared to the (not bad) TKS or the X-pod, I prefer this one.

Used it for the first time on a festival. Holds all essentials beautifully. The zippered inside pocket has awesome organization and zipper feels great. Was always able to find my belongings without having to dig through the insides. Quality textiles and the breathable mesh back worked great in the summer heat! Only minor gripe is that the keychain loop is in an odd location if you ask me. Didn't find not having strap keepers any problem they usually loose elasticity quickly anyhow.

I took pictures to clarify the capacity of the bigger/outer pocket (the one without compartments).

Picture on top shows how a 0,5 litre water bottle fits - it could take another one also. Picture on bottom shows the sling packed with one kitchen paper towel roll.

The place for the patch of your choice in the front is 5x5 cm.

One Youtube reviewer complained about the lack of fidlock buckle and strap keepers. Before buying I agreed but after using this sling for a month, my opinion is that the existing buckle is perfect. I have not missed strap keepers either.

I usually wear this as a sling but occassionally also around my waist. Both options work well.

Let me start by saying that I am a big Evergoods fan but was a bit afraid after reading some online reviews. I wanted a smaller version of the 3,5 liter MHP but the criticism about the strap system / buckle scared me. Then I thought ok fu** it I will just give it a try and I have to say: I'm so happy that I did! Not only is this a high quality bag with nice organization inside, great looking, ticks all the boxes for me, but the strap system / the fact that the buckle is in the middle isn't a problem at all!! just pull one side to full length and the buckle will shift to the side. I have a 32 waist and the buckle sits approximately where the back patch of my jeans is. Enough to not bother me when wearing a backpack or when sitting in the car. I secured the other side with a strap keeper and have quick access when I want to pull it a bit tighter. I wear this bag exclusively as a hip pack and for me it's perfect for everyday use and for traveling. Super happy with this bag, fully recommend! I have been using the Civic Access Sling 2L (CAS2L) for a few weeks now, and it has completely replaced all my other small bags. Evergoods has absolutely nailed the design on this one.

I do not like it as a sling, but as a bum bag it is one of the best. It is quite roomy and has an interesting layout. The back pocket is mostly for flat items, and the front is for bulkier items. You can also customize it with your favorite patch.

Great everyday sling. The format is the right size to carry everything you could need (including e-reader), not too bulky. The quality is top notch and the interior design has a good balance between common space and compartment. I was a bit afraid not to take a waterproof material, but it turns out it is waterproof enough for any day in a city. I regret nothing.

Super well thought out and useful bag for carrying all your daily essentials! The strap is simple, but effective - especially the adjuster strap by the buckle. It allows you to have the bag a little looser for putting on, and easily & quickly tighten/loosen it when you're wearing. A good balance between internal organization & useable space. It's a comfortable bag, but it can fit so much stuff that it can get a bit blocky/bulky if you really load it up. However carrying it on your back goes a long way in the cases where you need to carry that much stuff in just this bag. As with all Evergoods bags, it's very well built and durable. Highly recommend!

evergoods quality! big fan of evergoods take that into consideration :) spacious, well thought, non waterproof zippers for easy access. some reviews deterred me from buying because somewhat prolonged design but works very well with that big bucket front compartment. not carrying it like fanny pack just wonderful everyday casual carry sling.

The sling exceeded my expectations. It easily fits everything I need. The front compartment is perfect for larger items like sunglasses or keys.

Even when fully packed, the sling remains very comfortable. The placement of the buckle in the newer version is a great improvement, making the sling complete.

I highly recommend it and would definitely buy it again.

Subtle aesthetics, very very comfortable to wear and swallows way more than you think you can fit in. Usual Evergoods quality build. I can fit rain shell in this, or a water bottle and sungless.

People worrying about flapping straps can buy 38mm (1.5inch) webbing ending clips for peanuts and problem solved.

First of all I would say, that sling is OK, but since I am comparing it to my other slings, even here are some areas to improve:

1. Shoulder strap might be slightly longer (about 10 - 20 cm), I have it on max size and when I carry it with wither coat + sweatshirt I can feel that to be kinda tight.

2. Two compartments are nicely organised, but front one I would say is way too big without any smaller pockets (1-2 would be nice) and on the other hand smaller one has nice amount of organisation but is too tight, not that bad, but about 1 cm of width would be nice + access is kinda tight, when you have other things in front pocket (only thing I have in front pocket is Bellroy market bag 15l).

3. Zip pulls might be better organised, on smaller compartment when you close it there might be internal zip pull in the way and even those pulls are kinda too close to internal things (about 0,5 of more fabric would be also nice).

4. Sometimes issues with correct orientation - sling is designed more on symmetric side so I sometime end up with sling upside down when I pull it over me

I would say decent sling, but with some minor flaws

I tried several slings before I bought this one. Seems to be my sweetspot. l love the organisation in the small pocket and the big dump pocket. I can put my camera (Leica M240 with Voigtlander 50mm/f1.5 attached) in there in a pinch or other items like an ebook reader. Really versatile and tough material. Can recommend very much.

For my shorter walks alone I was looking for a bag to carry my phone, my keys, a snack and some place to put some light clothing without having the feeling of a weight on my body. And this was the best choice! The quality is perfect and the belt is so soft, I don't feel it on my waiste, though I am rather thin. It glides perfectly and I have easy access to the stuff I need. For my longer walks I use a larger bagback to carry some food and water bottle, but the sling bag has some place for a small bottle (half a liter) as well. I am happy with my choice and I recommend mukama for 100%!

It’s just big enough to hold what I need and have quick access to my wallet and keys and such.

I have a love-hate relationship with Evergoods. But I have to say that all the third generation products (the ones with the new breathable back panel) are amazing.

The CAS 2L is a small sling which, compared to its bigger sister the 3.5L holds a lot. I like the 2L organization better and is now my everyday sling (although I own 3 different color ways of the 3.5L)
