Titanium EOD Robotics Breacher Bar Medium
A couple of decades ago County Comm’s sister company, EOD Robotics, developed a simple compact Breacher Bar with input from Bomb Techs, SWAT Operators, and Patrol Officers. These folks need a simple tool for prying; cutting and pounding that didn’t break the bank. In September 2020 CC received a government contract for the same bars, but made from solid titanium.
EOD Robotics Breacher Bars come ready to go as a pry bar or lever. if you need it sharp, you will have to sharpen it yourself. The 2 inner holes in the handle can be for paracord or solid slabs or whatever you like. The hole towards the top of the blade and the one on the end are good for lashing it onto a shaft, tree branch, etc. The end hole is geared for hanging it up or for attaching a lanyard so you do not lose it in that pit or in the water.
You will receive a titanium bar with edges and holes. - the rest is up to you. The bar is not pretty, but pretty handy!

It might be an overkill for some opening jobs, but it totally kills any FOMO induced in you by smaller "designer" titanium pry bars that usually don't work as good. It's functional shape with a straightforward sensibility that doesn't leave any desires on the table is simply unmatched in my eyes.
I thought about getting the larger version once, but this one does everything I need at the moment.

Gut verarbeitet und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Für ein simples Stück Titan aber etwas teuer.
Die Kanten sind leicht gerundet. Ich mag das. So kann man das Teil auch gut in einer Tasche tragen, ohne dass die Gefahr besteht unbeabsichtigt etwas zu beschädigen. Saubere Verarbeitung, aber für ein relativ simples Stück Titan etwas teuer.
Great size. Not too big or too small. Feels very sturdy and lightweight (as expected). Wrapped the handle in paracord and made a leather sheath. A “pocket companion” for sure.
Ensivaikutelma oli, että "Oho, onpas kevyt!" varsinkin kun on teräksisiin työvälineisiin tottunut.
Raksa ja puusepän hommissa osoittautunut käteväksi vääntöraudaksi/kiilaksi missä onkaan tarvittu. Hyvin on myös kestänyt vasarointiakin. Eikä höyhenkevyenä ole työliivin taskussa menoa haitannut.
Myös erähommissa on osoittautunut käteväksi mm. toiminut polttopuiden pilkkomisessa, säästäen puukon terää. Kaivellut pieniä kuoppia ja rikkonut jäätä. Ja käytetty improvisoituna telttakiilana/lumiankkurina.
Ainoa mikä on ihmetyttänyt, miten kärjen toinen kulma on "tylpätty"? Omaani päätin hiasta pienen viisteen.
Yleisarvosana 4 - 4,5 tähteä. Hivenen hintava, mutta loppupeleissä sen väärti.
