The Jet Black is made from Cordura 420D Velocity, which has a matte-shine finish with a water-resistant top coating that repels dust and dirt. The multi-layer Polyurethane back side is waterproof.
The Coyote is made from EmberTex™ and with that Black Ember has removed all PFAS (forever chemicals) from their supply chain. EmberTex™ is a twisted nylon 6 with an abrasion resistant matte finish, a lustrous texture and a smooth hand feel. The 1200x600 Denier gives it more structure for ease of packing and access.
The new aluminum gated spring-hook hardware connects the padded shoulder strap securely to hypalon wings. The wings help the Kompak sit flat against your body. Your phone is charging in the Kompak’s magnetic pocket and your keys instantly attach to the magnetic key-ring. When you're ready to hang out for a bit, the Kompak unzips to become your mobile, personal organizer.
All Black Ember products are made using the Bond-Stitch high-precision construction. All textile components are laser-cut for precise assembly. This construction yields a super durable, over-engineered pack with a blacked-out, minimal and stealthy aesthetic.
