This pencil case is crafted entirely in Japan in partnership with Robinson and Anything Co. Anything Co is a company renowned for producing maekake, traditional Japanese workwear used for over 200 years. This pouch reflects a blend of heritage and functionality. Maekake aprons, tied around the waist, have long supported Japanese workers, providing both utility and back support. Anything Co still weaves its richly textured, indigo fabric on looms over a century old.
For this pouch, Robinson chose the thickest maekake fabric, ensuring durability and a beautiful texture. They also incorporated the signature maekake belt, ingeniously repurposed to secure your pens within the pouch, making it both practical and deeply rooted in tradition.

A simple but practical pouch with a nice handmade feel to it. In it I generally carry a few pens, a fieldnotes and my Surface Duo and its stylus (yeah, I'm weird like that). It opens flat, but when carrying it in a pocket in a sling or a backpack, i often keep it open folded back over itself, as to have better access to everything inside.
A pencil case made in Japan with high-quality materials. It offers plenty of space to carry everything you need for writing. Its design allows you to open it comfortably on a desk, keeping all your stationery neatly organized and within easy reach. The only downside is that the price is a bit on the high side, and if you use pens without clips, they might slide out.
Really happy with this pencil case. Beautiful design and colours, as well as top quality materials. It's a different style pencil case to what I am used to, but this style is really growing on me. It's particularly nice to display your more premium pens aligned on the left part, without them bumping and scratching each other.
Das Etui ist schön gemacht und gut verarbeitet. Ich wollte es eigentlich für mehrere Stifte benutzen. Es geht zwar, aber das Material ist etwas wabbelig. Die eingenähte Schlaufe ebenfalls. Von daher klappt das nicht so gut wie gedacht.
Schönes Material, schöne Farbe, aber etwas weich und nicht so stabil. Das reinstecken der Stifte könnte besser gehen.
