Guided Field Sharpener on kuin kotonaan repussa, työkalupakissa, hanskalokerossa, veneessä - missä tahansa työkalujasi pidät. Se on ensimmäinen kulmaohjurilla varustettu viiden tason teroitusratkaisu niille, jotka tarvitsevat kompaktia, täysiveristä ja monipuolista teroitustyökalua mukaan.
Teroittimessa on 5 tasoa teroitukseen ja hiomiseen, jokaisessa kulmaohjurit tasaisen viisteen tekemiseen koko terän mitalta.
- 2 timanttilevyä - karkea (220) muotoiluun ja korjaamiseen, hieno (600) teroitukseen. Levyjen mitat 10 x 2,5 cm
- 2 keraamista kiskoa - karkea, hieno ja koukunteroitussivu, sekä kapeampi hienojakoinen sahalaidan teroittaja
- 1 nahkaosa hankausviimeistelyyn
Ohjurit ovat vartavasten tehty taskuveitsiä ja fileerausveitsiä varten ja toimivat hyvin suoriin, käyriin ja sahalaitateriin sekä retkeilyvarusteisiin kuten kirveeseen.
Vahvat magneetit pitävät timanttilevyjä paikoillaan ja suojaavat samalla pientä säilitysosiota. Kompakti koko ja hihnanpaikka tekevät tekevät teroittimesta helpon pakata ja kantaa mukana, jolloin tylsä terä ei pääse yllättämään. Koottu ja laatuvarmistettu Oregonissa Yhdysvalloissa.

It is, quite simply, the best overall sharpener to have. In fact, it’s a must have. For the convenience, the ease of use, the size, everything. Quick touch ups to the edges of your blades, either by using the different sharpening steels or the leather strop. And you even have the ceramics to play with! Either if you’re into hunting, fishing or whatever, or even just to chuck it into your junk drawer, just get one for yourself.
Very easy to use and fast results. I often cheat with kitchen knives using Guided Field Sharpener instead of my big stones, so...
I mainly use this sharpener at home for my kitchen knives rather than outdoors for bushcraft knives, and it works really well. It is compact, easy to use, and gives great results with very little effort.
I like that it includes all the sharpening surfaces I need, from the diamond plates to the ceramic hone, and even a small leather strop for finishing the edge. It feels like a complete sharpening kit in one simple tool.
Practical, effective, and very convenient. What else would you need?
From a machete to a pocket knife, it has fulfilled its purpose!

It's a well designed little sharpening kit, does what it's supposed to do.
I don't recommend this for high-end steels though, not because it can't deal with it but because holding the Field Sharpener for extended periods feels kind of awkward. Every part of the sharpener is cleverly designed with purpose but it's not really ergonomic.
So if you are thinking of getting a portable system for your knives with S110V or M390 steels, this is not for you.
But for maintaining your tools with more reasonable steels on the field, this is a very capable and highly recommended kit.
