Secrid Slimwallet Vintage -lompakon nahan pinta on hieman hangattu ja viimeistelty vahalla, mikä antaa sille rosoisuutta ja särmää. Siihen kertyy ajan mittaan persoonallisuutta ja merkkejä elätystä elämästä.

Slimwallet-lompakko on moderni versio klassisesta billfold-lompakosta. Se on muotoiltu kompaktiksi ja mahdollisimman ohueksi kapasiteetista tinkimättä. Kuten kaikki Secrid-lompakot, Slimwallet on turvallinen ja sen käyttö on miellyttävää.

Jokaisessa Slimwallet-lompakossa on sisällä Cardprotector-korttikotelo, jonka patentoitu mekanismi tarjoaa vaivattoman ja nopean pääsyn kortteihisi. Vivusta painamalla kortit liukuvat tasaisesti limittäin esiin, josta oikea kortti on helppo poimia heti käyttöön. Vahvarakenteinen kotelo suojaa kortteja fyysiseltä rasitukselta sekä luvattomalta RFID/NFC -skannaukselta.

Kotelon ympärillä olevassa nahkaosiossa on lisätilaa korteille, seteleille ja kuiteille. Slimwallet-mallissa ei ole nepparisuljinta, mikä tekee siitä ohuemman. Cardprotectorissa oleva kortit saa esiin nahkaosiota avaamatta.

Secrid-lompakot valmistetaan Hollannissa lähes 100 asialle omistautuneen työntekijän voimin. Jokaisessa Secrid-lompakossa on sarjanumero, joka takaa tuotteen aitouden.

A new way to carry my cards

For a long time I had chosen not to carry more than 2-3 cards into a leather card holder. It was sufficient for daily commute, but always needed me to store all my others cards at home, and think about taking them separately when needed.
This wallet changed all that. From now on, for a slightly larger wallet (which fits perfectly in both my pockets and my sling bag), I can carry ALL my cards in one places, never having to wonder if I forgot one of them at home. The mechanism to pull them out is smooth and simple, it does feel well made and using quality materials.
I wonder though how long the leather will stick to the metallic casing, being held in place with glue. The reviews I saw on YouTube seem to say that it last for years without any issue. We’ll see about that. But anyway, glue can be replaced, which extends the life of this nice wallet.

Edges should be better

The wallet itself is great. The leather is sensitive for scratches (as expected). Treating with a leather cream helps. However the edges are not nicely processed. That makes it looking a little floppy. I have burnished the edges by myself. Now it‘s perfect.

Small size but practical. Very elegant. You can put 9 credit cards, cash and some paper notes or receipts into it. Leather is very nice, will see how robust it is. Some wider bussines cards don't fit into pockets.

I am happy with the product and its appearance. It takes up less space in my pocket than an ordinary wallet. The leather parts hold the other cards fairly snugly -- it could be a little looser or perhaps smoother, but it is gradually stretching. The double version would be very thick and I wonder if the next step for the makers would be a side-to-side double that would fit comfortably and "flatly" into a pocket or a bag.
