Civic Access Sling 1 L vapauttaa taskut ja pitää eniten käytetyt tavarat helposti saatavilla.
Sisällä erillinen puhelin-/passipaikka, vetoketjullinen turvatasku avotaskuilla sekä avainlenkki pitävät tärkeät tavarat helposti järjestyksessä.
Kaareva muoto istuu mukavasti vartaloa vasten sekä olan yli että vyötäröllä käytettynä. Säänkestävästä 840D Balanced Ballistic Nylon -materiaalista ja kestävistä osista valmistettu CAS1 on matalaprofiilinen ja suunniteltu päivittäiseen käyttöön ja matkustamiseen.
Solki- ja hihnaratkaisu on käytännöllinen ja virtaviivaista ilmettä. Matalaprofiilinen Phantom Duraflex -solki sijaitsee laukun sivulla ja sisältää hihnanpidikkeen.

I was genuinely excited about the Evergoods Civic Access Sling 1L, having previously owned the CHZ22 and CPL24, both of which I rate highly.
On paper, the CAS1 seemed like the perfect slim pocket reliever. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.
Product Quality
Upon arrival, I noticed the sewn-on velcro patch on the front panel was clearly misaligned, not only visibly skewed but also overhanging the lower panel edge by several millimeters. For a bag in this price range, that’s not the standard I’d expect.
Customer Service
I contacted Mukama and initially received a promising response suggesting it might be a warranty case. After checking with Evergoods, however, the position changed to “within tolerance.” I didn’t agree and pushed back, pointing out that the overhanging edge goes beyond any reasonable tolerance argument. To Mukama’s credit, they did eventually accept the return and refunded the original shipping costs, which I appreciated. That said, it took more effort than it should have.
Fit & Comfort
Beyond the quality issue, the bag simply didn’t work for me ergonomically. Worn crossbody over the right shoulder, it functions more like a fanny pack than a true sling. Specific issues:
• The strap is too long for my proportions, even at its shortest setting
• Zipper access is awkward regardless of how much is packed inside
• The bag doesn’t conform well to the body and creates a gap at the lower right flank
• It shifts around and doesn’t sit stably enough for active use
Overall
The design concept is appealing and Evergoods makes genuinely great products, but the CAS1 wasn’t the right fit for me in terms of both quality and ergonomics. The return process worked out in the end, which prevents a lower rating, but the initial service response and the product defect were disappointing for this price point.

Warranty cases are often reviewed together with the manufacturer, so a little back and forth can be part of the process. In this case, after one further email exchange, we decided in your favour and accepted the return with a full refund. But you're right, we probably should have done that from the get-go.

My first choice and recommendation: the Civic access is awesome. I have to say, for a pocket relief, it's the best option that I found so far. Good quality from Evergoods as always. I do have all the other slings from Evergoods, and I have to say this one just fills a special need. I find myself using it the most over all the others.
I also have the Toshi 2.5, and I will still grab the Civic Access most of the time.

Product as advertized. Seems robust and comfortable to wear on hip or shoulder. Easy to adjust. Quality meets price I think.
I really like the look and shape of this sling bag—it feels modern and stylish.
The clean design makes it look more premium than I expected.
I was especially impressed by the neat stitching and attention to detail.
Overall, it feels like a well-made bag that I genuinely enjoy carrying.
I really like how versatile this bag is also—I can wear it both as a sling and as a waist bag.

Perfect size for a pocket reliever. Would love to see it in other materials like x-pac or ultra.
It’s very well made and has the usual excellent Evergoods build quality. However, as a compact sling, I simply didn’t find it comfortable to use. It sits awkwardly on the body, and after repeatedly trying to get it to work for me, I eventually gave up.
If comfort and good ergonomics are important to you, I think this will be a disappointment
