Metro Pro - Reppu
Metro Backpack Pro tarjoaa erilliset säilytysosiot kannettavalle, päivittäisille tarvikkeille ja reissun päällä tarvittaville tavaroille. Säänkestävä ulkomateriaali ja mukavuus, joka kestää koko päivän.
Alpaka otti Metro-repun toimistokäyttöön sopivan tyylin ja helpon organisoinnin ja lisäsi kapasiteettia 24 litraan, jotta koko päivän varusteet mahtuvat yhteen reppuun. Kannettavan säilytys takana, päivittäiset varusteet keskellä ja välttämättömät tarvikkeet edessä. Jokainen osasto on varustettu omalla vetoketjullaan.
Diskreetti sivutasku pitää passin, puhelimen tai muut arvotavarat piilossa. Vettähylkivä kangas ja vetoketjut kestävät sääolosuhteita. Pehmustetut olkahihnat, selkäpaneelit ja rintahihna tarjoavat koko päivän mukavuutta.

I like using this backpack for my daily commute to the office. What really stands out is how well it holds its shape, even when it’s empty. The material is okay, but I’m worried that scratches will show up very quickly. It also tends to attract lint and dust a bit, but it’s not too bad. It sits very comfortably on my back.
I also own the smaller Metro Backpack and really like it, but as it is quite small I decided to get the Pro version as well. Although I like the size of the Pro version, I didn't end up liking it as much as the smaller Metro Backpack. For some reason the rainflap on the Pro version gets in the way a bit of opening the zipper of the main compartment, although I didn't have a problem with it on the smaller Metro Backpack. Also, when packed fully, the zipper of the main compartment kind of gets pushed outside of the rainflap negating it's use.
That being said, it's not a bad bag. I like that the Pro version has a separate laptop compartment, as I like to separate my computer from my gym gear and such. I also really like organization in the quick access pocket and the main compartment. But I just think I would have liked it more if I hadn't liked the smaller Metro Backpack so much.
Fantastic EDC. It's the perfect amount of space if you're looking for a bag to take to work. It's a right shoulder/left hand grab into the quick access pocket, which I prefer as a right-handed person.

Ich habe mir den Rucksack als "daily driver" für die Arbeit gekauft, benötige den Platz jedoch gar nicht. Meistens habe ich nur mein Laptop + Zubehör dabei, und dafür ist er zu groß. Ich konnte den Rucksack jetzt auf einer Reise nach Afrika testen, und da hat er sich ausgezeichnet. Das ist der BESTE Reiserucksack, den ich jemals benutzt habe. Material und Verarbeitung sind hochwertig. Die Schultergurte sind gemütlich, auch wenn der Rucksack voll beladen ist. Er passt in den Fußraum im Flugzeug. Durch die vertikale Vordertasche waren Tempos, Powerbank, Buch etc. immer griffbereit. Gleiches gilt am Flughafen, wenn der Rucksack auf dem Koffer sitzt. Der Geldbeutel ist sicher in der kleinen Rückentasche verstaut. Für Ausflüge am Reiseziel empfehle ich jedoch einen kleinen "pocketable" Rucksack mitzunehmen und den Metro Pro in der Unterkunft zu lassen.
Nachteile:
- die "Regenlasche".... diese Konstruktion kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, es gibt aber zum Glück einen Workaround! Einfach "nach hinten geklappt" lassen und man hat nie Probleme damit.
- Trinkflaschen müssen ins Hauptgepäckfach
Fazit:
Perfekt zum Reisen geeignet, aber als "daily driver" lohnt er sich nur, wenn man wirklich viel Zeug dabei hat.
After my 5.11 Backpack quit i was in the Market for a new durable alternative. The Alpaka Gaer is less military more style but at least same if not more functional. Love it. Use it every day for Work.
