FlatPak™ soap bar case is designed for ultralight and minimalistic travel. It's 3 x lighter and 6 x more compact* than plastic soap bar cases. Built from Welded Cordura® with Dry-Through™ technology. Does what it should
I keep a small deodorant in one, toothpaste tablets in the other. Keeps moisture away from the outside and vice versa, I don't regret the purchase.

Solved a problem
I use it for my solid hair shampoo. It solved one of the biggest problems I had when I was traveling, camping. I can carry solid soap with me everywhere without worrying about it. It's pretty cool, it's pretty sturdy and it has a good design.

Surprising product

Functional material
The material does what it promises, i.e. lets moisture out, but not in. The bar of soap actually dries gradually inside the bag when it is closed. The bag is quite small when closed, so the soap may have to be used a little smaller first so that it fits in the closed bag.
Also works well for other small items that don't like moisture (batteries, batteries, earphones, cables, etc.).

Excellent pouch if you are into solid soap shampoo
Had this with us during a week off grid with limited access to water and it was just great to have a place to store my soap bar without making a mess everywhere.

It is rather easy to get the soap and out even when it's not fully dry but do make sure the size is the correct one for your soap, it is a bit tight and a bit wider opening would have made it a lot easier but still, a perfectly usuable product !

Great Case
I´ve used the case couple trips now and I really like it. It's big enough for all soap bars I've found up till now and there has never been water / humidity on the outside.
Only remark I have - it's a roll-top with a clip. So don't take the branding "FlatPak" literally. It always has a certain height, however - your soap bar sure will have the same height throughout most of the soap bars lifetime ;)

Great way to store soap
I've switched from liquid soap to soap bar quite a while ago at home but was still using liquid soap in the gym or public pool because I had no good way to take the soap bar with me. The FlatPak Soap Bar bag is quite pricy and I was looking for alternatives, but eventually I couldn't find anything else that convinced me and so I decided to buy it. I was surprised how well the soap holds up in the bag - even though some reviewers on YT mentioned that it doesn't work much better than a regular zip lock bag. I use the soap bar 2 or 3 times a week and it's always dry when I take it out. When not using it I store it outside my gym duffel, but the soap bag stays closed the whole time. I'm very satisfied with the result.
I added a short paracord lanyard, so I can hang it up in the gym or pool showers.
In my opinion it's fully worth its price and a great way to get away from the plastic soap bottles even when not at home.

Great use, not colour
I had to try to find it all over Europe to be able to buy it in my country via Finland! The reason I insisted was because it looks practical and efficient. The quality is great. It does the work and I am looking forward for my travelling. The only thing that I seriously don't like is this dark unpleasant colour. Would it hurt them to change it to something else? that's all.

Only downside for me is the size, which I consider to be a bit too small.

Brand new large soap bars (at around 250g) will have a hard time at first fitting in the case.

Soap pouch
Surprisingly well-working impulse purchase.

So it's made from some kind of breathing fabric, where you can store s soap bar. The bar won't mess the other things in the gym bag and dries in the pouch for the next time.

Unfortunately doesn't deliver what it promises
We took two soap bags with us on a backpacking trip to the tropics. At first it seemed as if it would work well that the soap was stored in the bag hanging freely in the outdoor shower.
However, when the trip made it necessary to use it indoors (i.e. run-of-the-mill bathrooms, tropical climate, high air humidity), the dry through function no longer worked at all - the soap was also difficult to remove from the bag, since it was with this sticky (despite previous draining, etc.). Next time we'll take another jar with us. Unfortunately no purchase recommendation, may work better in a dry climate.

Hält leider nicht, was es verspricht
Wir haben zwei Seifenbeutel mit auf eine Backpacking Reise in die Tropen genommen. Zunächst wirkte es, als würde es gut funktionieren, das die Seife im Beutel frei hängend in der Outdoordusche gelagert wurde.
Als der Trip jedoch die Benutzung in Innenräumen (sprich 08/15Badezimmern, tropisches Klima, hohe Luftgeuchtigkeit) notwendig machte, funktionierte die Dry Through Funktion überhaupt nicht mehr- die Seife ließ sich auch nur noch mit Mühe aus dem Beutel entnehmen, da sie mit diesem verklebte (trotz vorherigem abtropfen lassen, etc.). Nächstes Mal nehmen wir wieder ein Döschen mit. Leider keine Kaufempfehlung, funktioniert vielleicht in trockenem Klima besser.

They just need to be a touch bigger
These are a great way to travel with soap bars, but they could be just a little bigger. If you have a new bar it can be a bit tight, and forget about those larger specialty bars they sell all over, and are nice to try while traveling.

I don't usually write reviews. For some cases, I even think reviews should be paid - hi Jeff Bezos!

But I must say Mukama did an awesome job bringing Matador products to Europe. They are not easy to find, specially here in Ireland, but Mukama promptly delivered it after an incredible shopping experience. The tracking tools are also great - and customers love to track every inch of their parcels, of course.

Regarding the product, TSA friendly, minimalist, elegant, efficient. Specially good for urban destinations, perfect for digital nomads, and as when properly closed it can be hung on a tree or somewhere in the tent. I even hang it on the backpack strap when commuting by bike - it helps to dry it (:

Excellent packing buddy for the trip!
Based on the first test, it worked great: fits in small space and worked well for wet soap as well, didn't leak and the soap remained in good shape. It's also easy to clean in the inside after use. I am happy this product found its way into my travel gear!

Faffy but works
Bit of a faff getting a big, wet soap bar inside as soap gets on the outside of the bag making the folding top "juicy".

Later, the soap is dry and so is the bag, so-much-so that the bag is completely stuck to the soap. Bit of a twist gets it apart.

Great soap case
Really light and handy bag for storing soap. It could be a bit bigger, though, as many soaps that are opened straight from the package don't fit inside the case straight away. But once you've used the soap a few times, it slips into the bag quite easily. I recommend.

Just what I needed
After switching from plastic bottles to soap bars for shampoo, conditioner and body wash; I needed a way to travel with the bars that would keep them dry and compact. I bought a set of three of these fold down pouches, as well as the screw cap ones for liquids and they are perfect!
