Der MAC 2 mit 3,5"-Klinge ist trotz seiner Größe bemerkenswert taschenfreundlich und hervorragend für den täglichen Gebrauch geeignet. Die außergewöhnliche Verarbeitungsqualität und das präzise Finish sind sofort spürbar – das Messer liegt solide wie ein Fels in der Hand und überzeugt dennoch mit einer seidenweichen, kontrollierten Action.
Die McNees Performance Machined Line wird vollständig in den USA gefertigt. Dieser Weg ist zwar nicht der einfachste oder profitabelste, aber für Jonathan McNees von zentraler Bedeutung. Sämtliche externen Arbeiten erfolgen in den USA, und ein Großteil – darunter das Einpassen der Verriegelung, der Detent sowie das Schärfen – wird direkt in der McNees-Werkstatt durchgeführt.

I have a McNees Dixon, which is also a great knife, but in reality is probably too big and too much knife for my everyday needs. The PM Mac 2 on the other hand has the fine action expected of a McNees, but the 3.5" blade fits into a surprisingly compact titanium frame lock and is a much more useful size for EDC. The clip could be better and blade geometry thickens towards the tip, but it still cuts extremely well. The stonewash finish shouts 'use me' and I'm doing just that more and more. A fabulous knife.
