Heri-kaeshi Zip Wallet
Round zip wallet that can hold cards, bills, and coins all in one. Two main pockets allow to organize cards and bills from two different countries together. A pocket on the front allows the main card to be used smoothly without opening the wallet.
The production technique “Heri-kaeshi”, reminiscent of Japanese origami craftsmanship, where the leather is thinned in sections, folded and stitched together with the inner cotton material, is a traditional Japanese small leather goods production technique from Edo period. The craftsmen can do this technique are already limited.
Handmade in Tokyo, made of shiny Himeji or Tochigi vegetable tanned leather with made-in-Japan YKK zipper.
Minimalist, clean design. Comes with a wax paper envelope.
