The DEFY Sternum Strap 2.0 addresses that. 25 mm Mil-spec webbing, handmade in Chicago, anchored by an AustriAlpin™ COBRA® Quick Release buckle — the same buckle used by military and rescue professionals worldwide. It's not cheap and holds 450 kg. Your backpack does not weigh 450 kg. But it's good to know where you stand.
A matte black steel triglide keeps the length adjustable and helps keep excess webbing in place. Fits all Defy backpack straps. Adjusts 8-46 cm across the chest. Attaches in seconds and releases the same way.
