its a beauty
The knife is simply stunning, the wood handle and the damaskus blade is just a fantastic combination. only thing is that there is a hairline gap between the wood and the frame on one side.

A very good knife - easy, safe and useful
The Chevalier is the easiest opening folding knife I have and it's the safest closing as well. It's also fidget friendly and can be opened via the flipper or by flicking while holding the button. It's also essentially a gravity knife; simply point down and push the button lock and the blade will fall open smoothly. The button lock mechanism allows the knife to be closed with all fingers clear of the blade's path.
The Chevalier's Cuibourtia handles look very nice and go very well with the black hardware (screws, pivot, liners, standoffs, button and clip). Oddly, the stop pin isn't black too but isn't given the same finish as the blade.
The sheepsfoot blade is very well suited for slicing items and opening packages and not overly large at less than 9cm. The 11cm handle is just large enough for a full four finger grip. The size makes the Chevalier a convenient EDC item that is fully usable for many tasks.
