The Samla takes all the strength, quality and craftsmanship you’d expect from a WESN blade, and packs it into a compact and lightweight friction folding knife. The Samla is inspired by WESN's Scandinavian heritage and steeped into the love for the wilderness. The northern region of Scandinavia is a place where only the roughest, toughest, and best prepared thrive - without a reliable blade in hand, the wilderness can be reluctant to yield its resources. But with the right one — durable steel; an unrelenting edge — an abundance of wild game, fish and forage reveal themselves. This is why the knife is named Samla, which means "gather" in Swedish.
The Samla is extremely light and compact when carried, but versatile enough for food prep or precision cutting around camp. A flat blade means a clean cut on a cutting board. Outstanding corrosion resistance means you can draw a bright, keen blade every time with minimal maintenance. Each component is treated with care and attention - from the non-locking friction folder for a smooth, steady action to the phosphor bronze washers for long-lasting, corrosion-resistant performance.
