The most advanced everyday carry knife from The James Brand
Featuring a slide-lock mechanism, a corrosion-resistant VG-10 stainless steel blade, fully-profiled scales and a deep-carry, reversible pocket clip, the Carter is the most advanced knife from The James Brand. It's slim and lightweight, but fully capable in any environment.
The slide-lock is secure, easy to understand and ambidextrous. It’s designed for use with one hand, and has been a staple mechanism of everyday carry knives for a long time.
The Japanese-made VG-10 stainless steel blade has great edge-retention and corrosion resistance. VG-10 was designed to handle the abuse of the culinary world, but because of its amazing characteristics, it’s found a home in the world of everyday carry.
The opening style uses a symmetrical thumb-disc on top of the blade, making for easy, affirmative one-handed opening. The deep-carry pocket is easily reversible (using a Torx T6, not included).

Classic style.
Good looking knife, that feels fantastic in hand and opening/closing mechanism works like a dream. Great tool for daily tasks. The knife comes in a wooden box. Comes with a protective pouch and changeable part for the clip. Micarta od green.

Tyylikäs veitsi, joka tuntuu kädessä upealta ja avaus/sulku mekaniikka toimii, kuin unelma. Loistava työkalu arkisempiin askareisiin.
Veitsi saapuu upeassa puisessa laatikossa. Mukana tulee myös suojapussi ja klipsille vaihdettava osa.

Light and stylish
Easy to carry knife, with the size and weight quite optimal. The folding mechanism is smooth and the thumbwheel is a good feature. In black and white, especially, it's nice and futuristic and doesn't have that huntsman feeling if you want to avoid it.
Compared to a traditional knife brand, there is admittedly a hipster premium to be paid for other aspects than functionality - it's everyone's choice whether it's worth it or not, but if the item has more use if you enjoy looking at it and flicking it around, then it's a good buy.

Helposti mukana kulkeva veitsi, jossa koko ja paino aika optimaaliset. Taittomekanismi on sujuva ja peukalokiekko on hyvä ominaisuus. Mustavalkoisena etenkin mukavan futuristinen eikä tule sellaista eräjormafiilistä jos sitä haluaa välttää.
Perinteiseen veitsimerkkiin verrattuna tässä kieltämättä maksaa hipsterilisää muista seikoista kuin toiminnallisuudesta - jokaisen oma valinta kannattaako se vai ei, mutta jos esineelle on enemmän käyttöä mikäli sen katselusta ja hypistelystä nauttii niin silloin se on hyvä ostos.
