Bexar Knife

Almost perfect…..
Really love this knife, a very modern slipjoint pocket knife that should be ideal for edc and beautiful to look at too. I deducted 2 stars for the following:
1. The pivot screw needed tightening to eliminate side to side blade wobble ( the opening and closing action was made too tight as a result, so I had to settle for a balance between both actions)
2. The blade didn’t come sharp and the grind on each side was uneven, but was cured with some sharpening.
All in all a little disappointing for a £200 + knife
However Mukama’s customer service is brilliant and postage to the uk was as promised 3 days.

Very nice modern slip joint
Modern slip joints are back, and the Bexar has Tactile’s own touch on it. And let me tell you, this is something. Magnacut steel (will have to see at sharpening how well treated it has been). Beautiful aesthetics. Walk and talk is a dream. Now there are some minor flaws (knive didn’t came well sharpened out of the box, mine came with an aesthetic gap on the spine), and small QC issues but it’s part of the first knives of a company that used to do… pens. So in a way it makes sense, and we should all follow their next lines as they progress. Plus, regarding QC issues (if you have any), Mukama service is a strong A+ and will get you covered. Can’t say enough how important the quality of the service from the shop is. And Mukama is on top of their game ! Great job to their team
