The Cardprotector is the core of each Secrid wallet, and works as a minimalistic, slim card case on its own. The patented mechanism provides a simple and fast access to your cards. Push the lever and the cards slide out smoothly, ready for immediate use. The strong case protects the cards against bending, breaking and unauthorised wireless scanning. Depending on the thickness of your cards, it can hold up to 4-6 cards. You can also choose to store just one card.
Nearly 100 craftsmen are building the Secrid wallets with great precision in Holland. Each Cardprotector comes with unique serial number as a proof of authenticity.

Protects your cards
The aluminium Cardprotector protects cards that use RFID and NFC technology against unauthorized scanning. These are cards - such as public transport cards, entry cards, latest credit and debit cards - which include a chip and antenna for wireless communication.
In order to safely use an RFID and NFC cards with Cardprotector, just slide a card out in one movement. By sliding the cards out but not removing them, the signal is reduced but still sufficient for contact over short distances. Your cards are better protected, even during use.
Maximum card capacity
The maximum number of cards in Cardprotector depends on the type of the cards. Cards with embossed letters are thicker, regular cards are slimmer. Please find the chart below:
Embossed + Regular = Total
4 + 0 = 4
1 + 5 = 6
3 + 2 = 5
The numbers above are maximum capacity - you can always carry just one card inside the Cardprotector as well.

Best money ever spent.
Outstanding product. So light and compact and the mechanism for pushing out your cards is addictive and so smooth. Selecting the card I want is two simple movements from just one hand. It looks fantastic in brushed metal (just don’t keep it in the same pocket as your keys!)
If you like to keep your cash with your cards I recommend also getting the band to go with it. It compliments it perfectly but perhaps this should come with the product? Overall exceptionally happy so I bought another in case I lose it!

I gifted it to my boyfriend, he finds it very classy. The concept is quite pratical. He put it in his pocket with his keys and there are a few scratches (barely visible). Also when he wants to pay with his credit card, he has to take the card almost completely out even though it's in the right position (according to the user manual). Despite this, he likes it a lot :-)

It's everything I hoped for. Easy access to cards, protection, no need to completely take out contact-less card to use it. Size is quite good, sometimes I wish I could add more cards but that might be just bad habits of hoarding a lot of different cards.

After a couple of weeks of experience, it seems like a great alternative to a traditional wallet. Doesn't weigh in your pocket like a thick leather wallet. It wasn't until I started using the Secrid that I realised that everything else in my wallet except for 6 cards has been useless. However, the goodness of Secrid ultimately depends on the durability of the mechanism, so it will take 1-2 years to make a final judgement on the product.

We went to Europe about 3 years ago and saw these. I bought one for me to carry the cards that I use on a daily basis. I have loved it every single day since I bought it. I have worn in out so I am buying 2 to replace it so I can carry some more card that I use often. I have given others the information to order them one and they have loved them too. Don´t regret getting rid of my old purse to replace it with this cardprotector. In fact I´m very gald. It easily fits in your front pocket and can hold up to 6 cards, but I only put 5 in it and some cash stuck in between the cards.

This is the best gift I could have gotten my fiancé. First of all the price is awesome for what it does. My fiancé would take out a card from his bulky wallet to bring into a restaurant or bar and then the entire dinner he would check his pockets to make sure his card was still there. With this new card protector, he has a safe place to store the couple of cards he needs when we are out and he doesn't have to worry. Since its small he can have it in his pocket without it bothering him or I can store it for him in a small wristlet that I use. Additionally, he has gotten many "woah" "wow" comments when he uses it because it pushes the cards out in such a neat way. I am going to buy another one for each of the guys in my life (my 3 brothers and my dad).

The Cardprotector is very practical and pretty. Since the cash payment is frowned upon more and more, this is a great invention. It can also be used for a driver's license and identity card to prevent damage. The delivery was extremely quick.

Stylish and practical, I am very satisfied with the product. Positive surprise was that the case could hold more embossed cards than promised. The delivery was also quite fast. On the other hand, paying with the card only halfway out does not seem to work very well; this is not a major drawback, however. Occasionally there are marks on the surface if the wallet rubs against something, but so far they have come off with a wipe. I hope the product proves to be durable, that's how much I like it, but it's hard to say after such a short period of use.

Between us, my wife and I have purchased 4 or5 of the Cardprotector wallets (and accessories) in various colors. We each carry one, AND they make great gifts. These are great wallets - lots of comments from others. My only complaint is with the finish on the gold colored wallet; we have purchased two of those and the quality of the color / finish on both was only so-so. We have also purchased red, black, violet and silver, and all are beautiful. I recently saw these wallets for sale in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Cool!
