Field-Flex Bound Book
Field-Flex is the most flexible cover material in a Rite in the Rain notebook. It's tough enough to withstand the harshest and wettest conditions. As it’s paper-based, it can be recycled normally like any other paper. The covers will quickly conform to your way of use.
Good bound books are made by grinding the ends off the folded sheets and then gluing them to the cover. RITR bound books use only the most durable glues which ensures they won't fall apart. The rounded corners improve durability and comfort of use.
Originally developed for the US military, these bound books are not only made to last but to collect a lot of data, strategic or not that strategic. The perforated sheets are easy to remove and it also helps opening at the spine.

Rite in the Rain - All-Weather Notebooks
The Rite in the Rain story began in 1916 from the US logging industry’s need for a durable paper that could be written on and survive in poor weather conditions. Now they are used by all types of professionals outdoors and indoors. The manufacturing still takes place in USA and has ultra-low impact on the environment. In spite of it's durability, the RITR paper is as recyclable as standard office paper.
