Beta QRv2 Copper Flashlight
Beta QRv2 is tiny, keyring compatible flashlight that retains all the core qualities of a custom Prometheus light: the aesthetic appeal, thoughtful design, and superior beam quality.
Quick Release
The quick release system allows you to simply push to engage and pull to disengage the flashlight from the keyring, engineered to provide 4,5 kg of holding power. Combine this with the snag-free profile, accidental disengagement is virtually impossible and engagement is verified by a solid "click".
High-CRI LED
The light source is the state of the art Nichia 219 High Color Rendering Index (High-CRI) LED. It is designed specifically to work harmoniously with human visual system, providing the maximal color accuracy compared to sunlight. For example, daylight scores the perfect 100 CRI. The Nichia 219 is typically 90+ CRI, currently the highest CRI per lumen in the industry. It really makes a difference - once you experience High-CRI you won't be able to go back to the flat, washed-out light you normally find in LED flashlights.
Batteries
If you want to get the most out of your Beta QRv2, you should use Eneloop NiMh rechargeable batteries. You can use any lithium batteries, but NOT lithium-ion rechargeables.
Copper
Please be advised, the copper will develop patina quickly and sometimes dramatically. This is one of the reasons some people actually prefer copper, it gets character over time.

The perfect EDC light?
Size and form factor is a pleasure to carry and handle. I was unsure if I’d like the twist on/off function but it is easily engaged. The copper finish is beautiful. The QD attachment is very firm and I’d imagine some would consider it a drawback because you certainly need to use both hands to attach it again. I find this reassuring however, it will not come off unintentionally. What surprised and impressed me the most though is the very pleasant light this torch throws, the color rendering is superb. If in doubt, doubt no more - buy this flashlight

One of the best EDC lights.
Great AAA size flashlight. Three modes (at least in copper) moonlight, medium and high. The beam is bright (High CRI) and natural. I personally carry this in a leather EDC cover ( H&T, but there are many other brands) which it fits perfectly. It is easy to pull out of the leather case by pulling on the tail ring. The copper is really beautiful and starts to patina from the oils on your skin for example. You can tell it looks a little different every day. I've had the Beta QRv2 for a couple of weeks now and it's already got a little patina on it, love it. All in all a top flashlight. Jason and others at Prometheus Design do a great job. Thanks Mukama for the fast delivery.
P.S. Made a little long review because I'm a little excited about this flashlight.

loistava AAA kokoluokan taskulamppu. Kolme modea (ainakin kuparisessa) moonlight, medium ja high. Valokeila on kirkas (High CRI) ja luonnollinen. Itse kannan tätä nahkaisessa EDC suojassa ( H&T, mutta niitä on paljon muitakin merkkejä) johon se sopii täydellisesti. Se on helppo vetää pois nahka kotelosta perän renkaasta vetämällä. Kupari on todella kaunis ja alkaa patinoida mm ihon öljyistä. Voi sanoa että se on joka päivä vähän eri näköinen. Itselläni on ollut Beta QRv2 parisen viikkoa ja siihen on jo muodostunut pientä patinaa, rakastan sitä. Kaiken kaikkiaan huippu taskulamppu. Jason ja muut Prometheus Design:illa tekevät mahtavaa työtä. Kiitos Mukama nopeasta toimituksesta.
