Excellent bottle for drinking water
I bought this thermos in yellow a few months ago and have been very happy with it. With the bottle, I've finally achieved my goal of drinking more water during the day: three bottles, sipping slowly (hydration!), in addition to coffee and drinks. I feel better and don't get headaches as often, I recommend it to everyone. Now for the properties of the bottle:
Bottle size. This size is perfect for a water bottle, any larger would be too heavy and clumsy. The size is a bit big for coffee, but for picnics/camping it's definitely good for that purpose as well. The bottle fits well in the hand and luckily also fits in the cup holder of the car, which is not the biggest one.
Coating. The yellow paint finish hasn't worn at all in use. I read online that the new paint finish is more durable than before, and this seems to be true. The bright yellow drink bottle is cheerful and feels smooth in the hand, I would definitely recommend this over the steel one. Over the years, if the coating starts to wear off, I think it will only give the bottle more character.
Thermos properties. The insulation properties are definitely on point. Cool water stayed cool for several hours in the center console of the car while the car was parked in the sun during the worst of the summer heat. This is a hard thing to understand until you experience it for yourself. The coffee also stayed hot in the bottle, even though this bottle ended up being my water bottle.
Cap. The Cafe Cap 2.0 holds water perfectly, but still opens conveniently with a twist of the lid. The metal handle makes it easy to twist the entire cap off when it comes time to fill the bottle. The entire cap can be easily disassembled and washed as needed. Plus the large filling hole makes it easy to add ice cubes to the water, ah what a luxury...
Extras. An unexpected positive feature was the drinking experience, as the water flows out of the cap in a stream, a very pleasant sensation, which is surprisingly a big reason why I always want to drink from this particular bottle. In a way, we're talking about the same phenomenon as the comfort of drinking from a straw, it's easy to get hooked on this drinking style. By changing the angle of the bottle, either a small stream or a gushing stream comes out of the cork. I think this cap is by far the best metal drinking bottle cap I've tried without any drawbacks.

Ostin tämän termospullon keltaisena muutama kuukausi sitten, ja olen ollut todella tyytyväinen. Pullon avulla olen onnistunut vihdoin tavoitteessani juoda enemmän vettä päivän mittaan: kolme pullollista hitaasti hörppien (nesteytys!), kahvin ja ruokajuomien lisäksi. Olo on parempi eikä päätä särke yhtä usein, suosittelen jokaiselle. Sitten pullon ominaisuuksiin:
Pullon koko. Tämä kokoluokka on täydellinen vesipulloksi, suurempi olisi jo liian painava ja kömpelö. Koko on hiukan iso kahvia varten, mutta piknikille/eräilyyn varmasti hyvä siinäkin tarkoituksessa. Pullo sopii hyvin käteen ja sopi onneksi myös auton kuppitelineeseen, joka ei ole isoimmasta päästä.
Pinnoite. Keltainen maalipinta ei ole kulunut käytössä lainkaan. Lueskelinkin netistä uuden maalipinnoitteen olevan kestävämpi kuin aiemmin, ja tämä vaikuttaa olevan totta. Pirteän keltainen juomapullo on mieltä piristävä ja tuntuu sileän hyvältä kädessä, suosittelen tätä teräksenvärisen sijaan ehdottomasti. Vuosien mittaan mikäli pinnoite alkaa kulua, antaa se mielestäni pullolle vain lisää luonnetta.
Termosominaisuudet. Eristämisominaisuudet on ehdottomasti kunnossa. Viileä vesi pysyi viileänä useita tunteja auton keskikonsolissa auton ollessa parkissa auringossa kesän pahimmilla helteillä. Tämä on kova juttu, jonka ymmärtää vasta kun sen kokee itse. Myös kahvi pysyi pullossa kuumana, vaikka tämä pullo onkin itselläni päätynyt vedenjuontikäyttöön.
Korkki. Cafe Cap 2.0 pitää vettä täydellisesti, mutta aukeaa silti kätevästi kannesta kiertämällä. Metallinen kahva helpottaa koko korkin kiertämistä irti kun tulee aika täyttää pullo. Koko korkki on helppo purkaa osiin ja pestä tarvittaessa. Plussaa isosta täyttöaukosta, jonka kautta on helppo lisätä jääpalat veden joukkoon, ah mitä luksusta...
Ekstrat. Odottamaton positiivinen ominaisuus oli juomakokemus, sillä vesi virtaa ulos korkista puromaisesti, joka on erittäin miellyttävä tuntemus, jolla onkin yllättävän suuri merkitys siihen että haluan aina juoda juuri tästä pullosta. Tavallaan puhutaan samasta ilmiöstä kuin pillistä juomisen mukavuus, tähän juomistyyliin on helppo jäädä koukkuun. Pullon kallistuskulmaa muuttamalla korkista tulee suuhun joko pieni puro, tai vuolas virta. Mielestäni tämä korkki on ehdottomasti paras kokeilemani metallisten juomapullojen korkki ilman mitään haittapuolia.
