Tokubetsu-Tedukuri Knife
Higonokami Tokubetsu-Tedukuri knife blade is made from Aogami Blue Steel, which hides into the brass handle. The V-shaped blade lets you use the knife on either hand.
The blade opens by Chikiri lever and stays open with friction, withouth a separate locking mechanism. When the knife is brand new, the blade can be a bit tight but will loosen up over time. If it gets too loose, it can be tightened by hammering the pivot - a great feature of the Higonokami knife.
