Fisher Space Bullet Pen has the ability to go anywhere and write anywhere. When closed, the pen is perfect size to carry in your pocket, bag or toolbox. The cap posts on the end of the barrel to make for a comfortable, well balanced writing experience. What makes the pen unique is its pressurized cartridge that is capable of writing upside down, underwater, at extreme temperatures and, well, in zero gravity.
The original Bullet Space Pen was conceived in July of 1948 and it is cited as an outstanding example of industrial art. NASA have been using the pens after rigorous testing in 1967. Even today, astronauts and cosmonauts use these pens for writing in the orbit.

Compact EDC pen
Well built, compact, almost perfect EDC pen. Got the black/gold version and it looks beautiful. Got the additional pocket clip for it and you can barely feel the pen in the pocket. If you need one hand operation though, you might need to take a look at the Cap-O-Matic version. Like all other Fisher Pens that I got, it comes with the black medium refill and I prefer the blue fine one. Too bad the ink refills are not more readily available, but I can always find some at this store. Thank you, Mukama and Fisher Space Pen Co.!

My best pen
Over the decades, some of the hundreds of pens I have used have been good, others dead at birth. The worst even went through the outer fabric of my trousers. I have now been testing the Fisher Raw Brass Bullet Pen for almost a month after being disappointed by the inefficiency of Rite-in-rain "space pens" and this space pen is by far the best pen I have ever used! The weight and shape are almost perfect and the antimicrobial brass finish feels good on the skin, even in difficult conditions. In its carrying position, the pen is small and round-tipped, so it doesn't slip through your pocket so easily. In the writing position, the pen is just right for my hand and you can really write with quality in any position. The pen comes with a black ink cartridge by default, which is not suitable for all official signatures in Finland, so I also ordered a blue ink cartridge. The pleasant surprise was that the black ink cartridge was a perfect match for my previous favourite pen. The only downside I found with the Bullet Pen is the lack of a pocket clip, which means that it quickly gets out of place on a slightly inclined surface. Next on my shopping list is another brass bullet and a pair of clips.

Osa vuosikymmenten aikana käyttämistäni sadoista kynistä on ollut hyviä, osa kuolleita syntyessään. Huonoin meni vieläpä housujen ulkokankaasta läpi. Olen nyt testannut Fisherin Raw Brass Bullet Pen -kynämallia melkein kuukauden ajan petyttyäni Rite-in-rainin "avaruuskynien" toimimattomuuteen ja tämä avaruuskynä on ehdottomasti paras koskaan käyttämistäni kynistä! Paino ja muoto ovat lähes täydellisiä ja lisäksi antimikrobinen messinkipinta tuntuu hankalissakin olosuhteissa iholla hyvältä. Kuljetusasennossaan kynä on pieni ja pyöreäpäinen eli se ei mene taskusta läpi niin helposti. Kirjoitusasentoon käännettynä kynä on juuri sopiva käteeni ja sillä todellakin voi kirjoittaa laadukkaasti missä asennossa tahansa. Kynässä oletuksena tulee musta väripatruuna, mikä ei käy Suomessa kaikkiin virallisiin allekirjoituksiin, joten tilasin myös sinisen väripatruunan. Iloinen yllätys oli se, että musta väripatruuna sopi täydellisesti aiempaan suosikkikynääni. Ainoana löytämäni huono puoli Bullet Penissä on taskuklipsin puuttuminen eli se lähtee nopeasti karkuun vähänkin kaltevalla pinnalla. Seuraavalla ostoslistalla on jo toinen messinkibulletti ja pari klipsiä.

Good, not perfect
This pen has a great design, it's small and easy to carry but when you remove the cap and put it on the top of the pen it will be a like writing with a full size pen. I like it a lot.
The precision in manufacturing is not perfect though, my pen would make a clicking noise when shaken. I had to take the ink cartridge out and put some paper tape near the tip to make it fit snugly in the pen. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

'perfect object'
The Fisher Bullet Pen is close to being a ‘perfect object’. Thanks to Mukama, I received it quickly and with no problems. When I say a ‘perfect object’, I mean that when you hold it, take the cap off and reassemble it, your mind inherently gets the simple perfection of the design. I purchased the brass model, and have lightly forced a patina on it (using mustard), so it already looks like a modern antique. Thanks Mukama. Patina comes really quick
the patina on the RAW brass pen comes really quick, if you cannot wait for the patina you can boil down vinegar (regular vinegar will do) add some salt, leverate the pencil in a plastic container, pour the vinegar and salt mix in, leave it in there for about 10 minutes and you should get greens and blues coming in hot !!!!

Excellent small pen!
When it arrived, it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but once you put the cap on the back it turns into a full-size pen, so writing with ti is a breeze. Due to it's shape it just easily slips into a pocket, and you barely feel it being there!

Excellent pen. Writes well, and sometimes does not leave gaps in the writing. Cap can be put on the other end when writing, but falls off quite easily if writing upside down. Nevertheless, one of my favorite ink pens (if not the best), I've ever used.

This is a great pocket pen: small, round-edged and stays firmly closed. I use mine all the time. However, a slight minus is that if you somehow manage to dislodge the front of the pen (from the sealing ring that holds the cap in place towards the tip), it is absolutely impossible to get it firmly back in place. Now sometimes when I open my pen, it spits out its spring.
