I have encountered some issues with comfort during daily use. While the backpack initially felt fine, I've noticed that after wearing it for a few days, the bottom part of the backpack feels quite solid and places undue pressure on my lower back, resulting in discomfort and pain. This made it difficult for me to use the backpack regularly.

I reached out to Evergoods and they recommended a couple of things one can try:

1. Tightening the shoulder straps to wear the bag higher up on your back sometimes helps.
2. Some of our customers who experience this add a small piece of foam or cushion inside the framesheet sheet compartment (found within the laptop compartment) at the bottom of the bag between the framesheet and back panel.
3. If the above doesn't work, you could potentially pull out the plastic framesheet to see if this alleviates some of the problem.

Option 1 or 3 didn't change much for me, but option 2 worked fine. I tried it now for more than a week and so far it seems ok.

I was quite frustrated at the beginning because I really like the backpack, but I could simply not wear it!! Now it is much better and I think the problem is solved. Having said that, I would never expect such an issue to arise for a 350 euro backpack. That made me a bit disappointed and therefore only 3 starts to attract people's attention to this issue. This is really a pity, otherwise I would definitely give it strong 4 or even 5.

Other (minor) things:
- the backpack (and the laptop compartment) is not waterproof
- there is no outside holder for a water bottle.

But these things you know before the purchase.

Excellent backpack for my city adventures
Sturdy and comfortable but still lightish backpack that works very well for work and life in the city due to the simple and clean looks. Materials and the construction are high end. Original v2 interested me a lot but the panel pocket was on the wrong side for me; when I noticed that mirror version was available I immediately pressed the buy button. The price is high but value works for me.
